MicroCentric offers the new CG Pistol Grip Changing Fixture for Quick Change Collets for fast and easy collet changes. Available in the CG42 model for 42BZI collets and the CG65 model for 65BZI collets, the pistol grip changing fixture is easiest way to change MicroCentric collets.

Simply insert the pins onto the front face of the collet and squeeze the handle. A locking mechanism in the handle keeps the fixture collapsed while installing and removing the collet. Pressing a trigger unlocks the changing fixture and releases the collet. Upgrade your quick change collet system today with the best new tool for the job.

Introducing the CB-NX Collet Chuck

The CB-NX series collet chuck features a low profile dead length design with a reduced diameter nose for maximum tool clearance. The design of this collet is coupled to the chuck body and remains stationary as the tapered seat moves forward when the chuck is actuated. This design keeps the collet in a fixed Z-axis position during clamping and does not create a pull back effect on the bar stock or workpiece.

Additional CB-NX features include:

  • Reduced diameter
  • Dead Length design produces no pull back on the workpiece
  • Draw tube stroke from .160 in to 4 mm
  • Clamping range from +/- .020 in to 0.5 mm
  • Maximum speed up to 6,000 rpm
